Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Hanveto's analytics platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Description of Services
Hanveto provides a cloud-based analytics platform designed for small retail stores in Japan. Our services include data collection from point-of-sale systems, visualization of sales and customer flow data, and generation of business insights.
Account Registration
To use our platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
- Use the services to transmit harmful or malicious code
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our platform
Data Ownership and Usage
You retain all ownership rights to your business data. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing analytics services to you.
We may use aggregated, anonymized data for improving our services and developing new features, provided such use does not identify your specific business.
Service Availability
While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our platform. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability.
Fees and Payment
Service fees are based on your selected subscription plan. Payment terms will be provided when you subscribe. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with advance notice to existing subscribers.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms or for other reasons outlined in your service agreement.
Upon termination, you may request export of your data within a specified period, after which data may be deleted according to our retention policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Japanese law, Hanveto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Warranties and Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will meet your specific requirements or that they will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Hanveto harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Niigata, Japan.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
